How SuperStation95 is funded, what data it collects, how corrections are handled and what the platform deliberately does not do.

About this page

This page is maintained by SuperStation95 LLC to answer common questions about how the SuperStation95 platform operates, who is behind it, and how it makes money, or currently does not. It describes current practices rather than an independent audit, and it is not a certification of any kind, but we intend it to be specific enough that a skeptical reader can actually use it to judge us.

We publish this page because travel content online is often written to sell something, whether that is a booking, an affiliate click, or a sponsored placement, and readers have good reason to be cautious about whose interests are behind an article. We would rather state plainly what we do and do not do than ask readers to take that on faith.

Ownership and funding

SuperStation95 is operated by SuperStation95 LLC, a limited liability company organised under the laws of the State of Alabama, based at 30500 State Hwy 181, Spanish Fort, AL 36527, United States. The company is independently owned and is not affiliated with, or funded by, any airline, airport authority, hotel group, or tourism board.

At present the site carries no advertising and sells no product, and it is funded from the company's own resources during this stage of the project. If external funding, advertising, or a paid product is introduced in future, the nature of that funding and any resulting influence on editorial content, or lack of it, will be described here before it takes effect.

Revenue model

  • Currently: no revenue is generated directly from the website. There is no advertising, no affiliate links, and no paid placement anywhere on the site.
  • A reserved area for a future flight search widget exists on the home page. It is currently inactive, clearly labelled, and generates no revenue or data collection today.
  • If a revenue model is introduced, for example advertising or an affiliate partnership, it will be clearly disclosed on every page where it appears, not only in this policy.
  • Any future revenue model will be designed so that it cannot alter which facts are reported in an article, only, at most, which unrelated products are shown alongside it.

No paid placement in editorial content

We do not publish sponsored articles, accept payment for inclusion in a ranking or resource list, or allow a commercial relationship to determine which airline, airport, hotel, or destination is described favourably. An airline or destination is never given priority coverage, positive framing, or omission of a known problem because of a business relationship with SuperStation95.

This applies equally to the reserved advertising space mentioned above. Even after any future activation, advertising placement would be kept visually and structurally separate from editorial content and would never take the form of an article written to look independent.

Data we collect

  • Contact form submissions, used only to answer your message and, where relevant, to investigate a correction or accessibility report.
  • Newsletter addresses, used only to send the briefing you asked for, and removed promptly after you unsubscribe.
  • Aggregate technical and analytics data about page usage, used to understand which content is useful and where the site is failing readers.
  • We do not sell personal data, we do not run behavioural advertising, and we do not share reader data with data brokers. Full detail is in the Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, which take precedence over this page for anything relating to personal data.

Security practices

The site is served over encrypted connections. Access to editorial systems and any stored reader data is restricted to authorised personnel, and service providers are chosen with data protection terms and, where relevant, security commitments in place. We do not claim any formal certification such as SOC 2 or ISO 27001, and we would tell readers plainly if we ever did make such a claim, along with the certifying body.

Shared responsibility

We are responsible for the accuracy and maintenance of what we publish and for handling your data as described in our privacy documentation. You remain responsible for verifying travel requirements with the airline, airport, or authority before you travel, since only they can make binding decisions about your journey, and no amount of care on our part can substitute for that direct confirmation.

Corrections log and process

Confirmed errors are corrected promptly and the review date on the article is updated to reflect the check. Reports sent through the contact page are acknowledged within two business days, and accessibility reports are prioritised ahead of general feedback. Our Editorial Standards page describes the severity levels we use internally to decide how a correction is handled and disclosed.

We do not currently publish a public, page-by-page correction log, but a reader who asks about the correction history of a specific article can request it through the contact page and we will describe what changed and when.

Escalation path

If you raise an issue and are not satisfied with the response, ask for it to be escalated to the editorial desk lead by referencing your original message. If the matter concerns a legal notice or a formal complaint, see the Legal Notice page for how to serve notice by post, since not every channel is treated as formal service. For accessibility barriers specifically, the Accessibility Statement sets out a dedicated response timeline.

Reader data and your choices

You can ask what data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, subject to the limits described in our Privacy Policy, by contacting us through the contact page. Unsubscribing from the newsletter and clearing cookies through your browser are both available to you at any time without needing to contact us at all.

What we deliberately do not do

  • We do not access, modify, or cancel travel bookings, because we never hold any.
  • We do not file compensation claims for readers or partner with claim agencies that take a cut of any payout.
  • We do not provide legal, visa, or immigration advice.
  • We do not publish content we cannot realistically maintain and review on the cadence described in our Editorial Standards.
  • We do not accept payment in exchange for favourable coverage, ranking, or omission of a known issue.
